Just two months after starting at Tri-Tech, I decided it would be a good idea for our company to participate in the annual GHBA BBQ and Wild Game Cook-Off. Little did I know what I was getting into, nor where it would take our company as well as my professional and personal relationships!

Luckily, I attended an Associate Council Luncheon a month before the cook-off and was immediately taken under the wing of a fellow associate who was on the leadership ladder at the time. Not only did he provide me with much-needed guidance for the BBQ cook-off that year, he has become a friend and is always just a phone call away!

I have found that relationships such as these are the norm when adding fellow GHBA members to my professional network. My years involved with the GHBA have ranged from a newbie at a BBQ Cook-Off in 2010 all the way up to Associate Council President in 2015. Every year, I continue to meet new people and prospect clients and deepen my already established personal and business relationships. Without the GHBA, this would not be possible.
