Representatives from Taylor Morrison and Darling Homes shared a “slice of Americana” with the recent unveiling of the new Project Playhouse design that is being built for HomeAid Houston’s 11th annual Project Playhouse fundraiser. The playhouse is called the All American with its purely classic playhouse style, while prominently showcasing the American flag on the exterior.

Roo Popp, Michael Pomerleau and Keeley Motton, representing the Taylor Morrison and Darling Homes Project Playhouse team, joined HomeAid Houston’s Cindy Hinson, fund development chair, and Bo Butler, president of GHBA, as they unveiled the design at a recent GHBA board meeting.

The Taylor Morrison and Darling Homes team join HomeAid to display the All American Playhouse in partnership with the Houston Astros and the Astros Foundation, at Minute Maid Park during the Astros games, from June 27 to July 19. Fans will have an opportunity to win the playhouse in a drawing on July 19, with funds raised benefiting HomeAid’s mission “to build new lives for homeless families and individuals through housing and community outreach.”

The playhouse is currently under construction on site at a BMC warehouse with materials and labor donated by GHBA members.

“HomeAid’s 11th annual Project Playhouse is sure to be a huge success with our partnership that includes the professionals at Taylor Morrison and Darling Homes and the Houston Astros,” said Salty Thomason, president of HomeAid Houston. “We are counting down to the day the All American Playhouse debuts at the Minute Maid location, where we can watch the kids and adults delight in the Americana theme.”
