Operation finally home dedication in League CityOn April 14, Operation Finally Home celebrated its 100th home dedication in League City. The 100th home was built by BABA member Murphy Yates with Harbour Classic Builders and the lot was dedicated by BABA President Bob Douglas with Johnson Development in Tuscan Lakes.

The celebration marked a special milestone for Operation Finally Home, but most important, it honored U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jonathon Dowdell and his family.

Cpl. Jonathan E. Dowdell enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 2004. Dowdell’s extensive list of awards include a Purple Heart, a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with a combat V, a Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, a National Defense Service Medal, an Afghanistan Campaign medal with two stars, and an Iraq Campaign Medal with two stars. He and his wife Rebecca, and daughter Kitura are relocating from California to reside in their new Harbour Classic Builders home. Upon their relocation, Dowdell plans to enroll in a Texas university.
