Pat Wilson, president and owner of Legends Architectural Stone, has been working in the Houston area since 2006 when he relocated from Michigan. Legends Stone opened in the summer of 2013.
Pat’s leadership style and “espirit de corps” has set the tone for the great staff at Legends Stone, which has grown with each year in business through an innovative sales team and smart-minded, hard-working operational team.
Legends services several of the local production builders such as DR Horton, Gehan Homes, LGI Homes and several others. Their one-on-one approach with custom homebuilders makes them an ideal choice throughout the city. Legends has grown in the commercial sectors as well for both construction and landscape operating in the Dallas-Ft Worth, Houston and Denver metros.
Prior to arriving in Texas, Pat served in the United States Marine Corps from 1991 to 2002 with the rank of Sergeant. Pat was deployed worldwide. While time served, Pat was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal. He served as Facilities Management, MCAS Futenma Okinawa JAPAN. Pat quotes, “Honor, courage, commitment are my core values, a mindset that I carry forth in conducting business with my customers. Semper Fidelis.”
Pat Wilson is joined by his wife, Melissa, and three children, Abigail, 17, Noah 14, and Emma, 13 who reside in the Tomball area. Both Pat, his family, and the Legends Team have maintained good health and well-being through the current COVID-19 pandemic and still actively serve our Houston construction industry.
Pat has been very active in the GHBA through numerous committees, councils and events. Currently, Pat is the Associate Council president for 2020 as well as serving as chairman of Speaker and Planning Committee, the Tex-Mex Committee, Scholarship Committee, and the BBQ Committee since 2011. Pat is also co-chair and our favorite “Santa” for the Frank Aranza “Adopt-a-Family” Project, as has served for over a decade.
Pat also serves on the GHBA board of directors for 2020, which he previously served for two consecutive years back in 2013. Additionally, in 2020, Pat serves as a member of the Montgomery County Division board and co-chairs the Fall Golf Tournament.
Some other honorable mentions are his service back in 2007, serving on the Remodelers Council board of directors, as chairman of the GHBA Spring Golf Tournament in 2010, and also on the board of directors for the Custom Builders Council in 2017.
Pat is always seeking to contribute in some capacity with the organization and GHBA appreciates his ongoing service!
