Kristal Casey brings a holistic leadership approach to her role as founder, CEO and Chief Visioneering Officer of C3 Building Solutions – a permit and development consulting and expediting company. In her own words, Kristal aspires “to lead a conscious corporation where I honor relationships and value the contribution of others to achieve high-impact results, cultivate prosperity, and give back to our community.”

C3 Building Solutions has been a GHBA member for several years. In 2018, Kristal became a member of the Associate Council and the Sales & Marketing Council, and in 2019, she became a HOME-PAC Trustee. This year C3 Building Solutions became a Sustaining Associate Member (SAM). Kristal also answered the call within the charity side of the GHBA by donating her permitting services to HomeAid Houston for a build project within SEARCH Homeless Services’ House of Tiny Treasures.

Prior to establishing C3 Building Solutions, Kristal spent more than 15 years in business and community development, marketing and sales, customer relations and public relations, providing a strong skill set for business. As a natural entrepreneur, Kristal has envisioned and founded numerous business ventures.

In 2012, based on a personal commitment to health, Kristal and her husband, Dwayne, launched a start-up natural beverage company to provide healthy products, based on high market demand.

From 2005-2012, Kristal served as co-owner of Superstar Solutions, which focused on corporate branding and marketing services, and public relations. Kristal was instrumental in raising start-up capital of more than $300,000 for these ventures.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Kristal has a strong love for community and service. In 2006, she was appointed by Mayor Bill White to the Mayor’s Wellness Council, and served on the executive committee as co-chair of the communications committee (2008-2009).

Currently, Kristal volunteers her time on numerous organizations that include, CREW Network Houston, the Greater Houston Partnership, Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, the International Code Council – Houston Chapter, the National Association of Women in Construction, and the Scenic Houston Development Committee.

Kristal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology (1994) and pursued graduate studies in Educational Psychology at the University of Houston (1999). She recently completed the Program on Negotiation at Harvard University (2018).

Kristal is passionate about her home town, Houston, where she resides with her family. She is mother to daughter, Payten, and son, Zayne and wife to local artist and business partner, Dwayne Casey. She is dedicated to her faith, wellness through holistic and alternative therapies, animals and nature, and spending time outdoors.
