Honoring Local Vendors Who Built M/I Benefit Home in Bridgeland

Dozens of vendors and trades attended a recent award luncheon hosted by M/I Homes, The Howard Hughes Corporation and the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA), where they were honored for their donations to help construct the M/I Homes Benefit Home. The luncheon was held at the Parkland Village Activity Center in Bridgeland.

Guest speakers honoring the vendors included Casey Morgan, CEO of the GHBA; Jay McManus, area president of M/I Homes; Lona Shipp, director of marketing for The Howard Hughes Corp.; and Patrick Mayhan, vice president of purchasing for M/I Homes.

“The luncheon honoring the generosity of our local vendors, suppliers and trades was a fun way to bring the whole Benefit Homes team together for great barbecue and time to visit,” said Patrick Mayhan. “The Benefit Home could not have been built at such a reduced cost if it weren’t for these companies and individuals who step up time and time again to donate. This continued commitment reflects the generosity of our industry.”
