The HistoryMaker Benefit Home is on the market and priced in the mid $300s, which is a huge price break when considering the home features five bedrooms and four full baths.

This 3,174 sq. ft. design is loaded with amenities that include exterior stone accents, a three-car garage, 10′ first floor ceilings, an extended covered patio, a large gameroom and a box out window in the dining area.

A secluded master suite offers three large windows for natural light, a large walk-in closet, a garden tub and separate shower. The kitchen is an open style that features an oversized island, quartz countertops, 42″ white cabinetry with crown molding, a corner walk-in pantry and stainless-steel appliances. The home was built on a lot donated by Land Tejas, in the growing community of Sierra Vista.

Each year two homes are built for this fundraiser in prime communities and with donated materials, labor and services from GHBA members. The homes are sold at market value and proceeds from the sale of the home are donated to two local charities, HomeAid Houston and Operation Finally Home. Since the project began 40 years ago, nearly $12 million has been raised.

“This five-bedroom, four bath home is an incredible investment for the growing family,” said Rob Hellyer, president of the GHBA. “It comes loaded with amenities not often found in homes with similar pricing. The buyer of this home also gets the added bonus of knowing their purchase has contributed to wounded veterans returning from service and the homeless of Houston.”

GHBA members who donated to construction include: Allpoints Surveying, HomePro Home Technologies, Allstate Brick, A C Construction, DPIS Builder Services, Excell Foundations, Universal Forest Products, Windstorm Group, Mohawk, TWI, Country Wide Roofing, Santollo Construction Clean Up LLC, Deep Blue Comfort, Carrier, Rock Materials, Builders Choice Inc., Royal Bath /Counter Source, Flooring Services of Texas, Advantage Gutters, Factory Builder Stores, Sherwin-Williams Paint, Builders First Source, Perfection Supply, Jacobs Overhead Door, Fashion Glass and Mirror, Datasmart Home Technologies, RT Masonry, Delta Faucet, Moore Home Solutions, Rosenburg Plumbing, Progress Lighting, Reyes Tar Painting, Décor Hardware and Creative Landscape and Design.

“This home is one of our most popular floorplans,” said Mickey Pizzitola, Houston division president. “We are looking forward to selling it and being able to present checks to two valuable charities that better the lives of so many in our community.”
