The annual GHBA BBQ & Wild Game Cookoff was a ‘totally radical’ nod to 80s movies, complete with appearances by Beetlejuice himself, Bernie, a Delorean and more fun surprises. Held November 8, 2019, at Rock Materials, the competition was fierce as teams vied for top honors in beans, pork, chicken, beef, and the coveted People’s Choice categories.
A special highlight of the event was the Trus Joist Washer Tournament Championship. Competitors advanced from Round One which was held at the Chili Cookoff in February. Congratulations to the winning team, Brannon King and Tim Lipasek with DPIS Builder Services! Team entry fees benefit HomeAid Houston.
