AHI Supply, with the help of its nearly 200 employees, manufactures and distributes a wide variety of building materials primarily related to masonry, stucco, and concrete foundation applications. AHI Supply also believes in giving back to those less fortunate through the support of local charities.

The GHBA Benefit Homes Project was the ideal fit for the company, to be able to give back through what they do best, work with residential construction companies to build homes for families and individuals for the past 20 years.

The roots of AHI go back to 1982 when former home builder Robert Allen, opened the supply part of the business to service Houston area home builders. The company has two additional facilities, one that services Austin and San Antonio and another office that services the Dallas – Fort Worth areas. The primary marketplace for AHI Supply is Texas and the surrounding states.

Over the years, AHI has moved heavily into the manufacturing of materials. The company manufactures the full line of Spectrum Cements at its plant in Buda, Texas. In Alvin, AHI produces Spectrum stucco coatings, cast stone, and TexClean masonry cleaners.

“Builders of the GHBA have strongly supported AHI for decades,” said Mike Hill, president of AHI. “GHBA builders make it possible for our staff to support themselves and their families. Whenever a Benefit Home builder reaches out to us for material contributions, we are eager to support them.”

“Also, there are many American military veterans that work for AHI Supply, including myself. As a result, we especially look forward to supporting Operation Finally Home, one of the two charities that receives funds from the sale of the Benefit Home as they work to provide a better life for deserving veterans and their families. On behalf of the entire team of AHI Supply, we are honored to be one of the vendors supplying materials on the recent Chesmar Benefit Home that was built in Lago Mar,” added Hill.
