The Gulf Coast Workforce Board and its operating affiliate Workforce Solutions are the public workforce system in the 13-county Houston-Galveston region. Helping employers meet their human resource needs and individuals build careers, the board guides the area’s workforce agenda focusing on supporting competitive employers, building an educated workforce and helping to create more and better jobs for local residents.
The Workforce Board is business-led and community focused, with members representing the private sector, education, organized labor and community-based organizations.
Each year Workforce Solutions provides a service to more than 26,000 employers and helps more than 380,000 individuals go to work, improve their basic education skills or use financial aid to find a job, keep a job or get a better job.

Experienced carpenters, electricians, drywall and ceiling tile installers, plumbers, building inspectors and roofers are among the many highly qualified individuals currently active in this database, and Workforce Solutions offers advanced job matching to help employers find the right people.
