On Mother’s Day weekend 2021, GHBA Custom Builders Council members and their families spent a Saturday morning at the 7th Annual CBC Charity Work Day planting flowers and mulching the flower beds at Casa de Esperanza, a charitable organization that provides a safe and nurturing place for children in crisis due to abuse, neglect or the effects of HIV.

“It was fun day, getting our hands dirty together and giving back to our community,” said Todd LeBlanc, 2021 CBC president. “Thanks to all that were able to participate!”

Casa de Esperanza has been a longtime charity-of-choice for the Greater Houston Builders Association, with ongoing efforts to further the charity’s mission. Members and staff have contributed countless hours of volunteer service, along with thousands of dollars worth of donated materials and labor.
