Join the Benefit Homes Team
For more than four decades, generous builders, developers, vendors and suppliers have answered the call to build a GHBA Benefit Home. Proceeds from this annual Project benefit two local charities — HomeAid Houston and Operation Finally Home.
Those who participate in the GHBA Benefit Homes Project are firm believers in the mission: To ensure a brighter future for the community’s less fortunate, through the heart and hands of the homebuilding industry. Will you join us?
Advantages of Joining the Project
Participating Benefit Homes builders, developers and vendors receive extensive publicity throughout the year!
Project PR & Marketing:
Feature Articles in Houston Chronicle, HBJ & More
Articles featuring each builder / developer team are submitted to the Houston Chronicle weekly. Written by GHBA's public relations director, they appear in the Home Section on Sundays and in the online edition. The value of this advertising is estimated to be over $150,000 a year. Weekly readership of the Benefit Homes print articles is estimated to be over 400,000, including online viewing. Houston Chronicle Benefit Homes articles are often picked up by other publications as well, including the Houston Business Journal, Texas Builder Magazine and zoned papers.
Houston Builder Magazine Publicity
Houston Builder magazine features a two-page spread on the Benefit Homes Project each month. This magazine reaches GHBA members and homebuilding professionals throughout Houston.

Your Vendors & Trades Get Love Too!
