Join the Benefit Homes Team

For more than four decades, generous builders, developers, vendors and suppliers have answered the call to build a GHBA Benefit Home. Proceeds from this annual Project benefit two local charities — HomeAid Houston and Operation Finally Home.

Those who participate in the GHBA Benefit Homes Project are firm believers in the mission: To ensure a brighter future for the community’s less fortunate, through the heart and hands of the homebuilding industry. Will you join us?

Advantages of Joining the Project

Participating Benefit Homes builders, developers and vendors receive extensive publicity throughout the year!

Project PR & Marketing:

  • Feature Articles in Local Media

Articles featuring each builder / developer team are submitted to area news outlets on a regular basis. Written by GHBA's public relations director, they are often picked up by publications such as the Houston Chroincle, the Houston Business Journal, Texas Builder Magazine and zoned papers.

  • Houston Builder Magazine Publicity

Houston Builder magazine features a two-page spread on the Benefit Homes Project in every issue. This magazine reaches thousands of homebuilding professionals throughout Houston.

  • Featured by the Charities

Project participants are featured in both charities’ newsletters and websites. These websites reach over 20,000 Houston area consumers monthly.

  • Your Vendors & Trades Get Love Too!

Vendors and trades that participate in the Project are also highlighted in articles in media submissions, the charity organization’s newsletters, GHBA's social media, and in Houston Builder magazine.

  • Groundbreaking Coverage

The Benefit Home groundbreaking will be covered by local publications, as well as in Houston Builder magazine.

  • Vendor Appreciation Luncheon Coverage
