GHBA’s top recruiters for 2019 were honored at the association’s annual Installation Celebration, January 18 at the Briar Club. There was a tie for the Membership Spike of the Year award, between D’Ann Brown with StrucSure Home Warranty and Debbie Page with 1st Infiniti Enterprises Inc./1st Texas Fire Protection. Each had 13 New Member Spikes.
For the fourth year in a row, Debbie Page was also the Retention Spike of the Year with 62 retained credits.
These ladies are outstanding GHBA members because they are incredibly assertive and active participants at all association events.

Member-to-member recruitment and retention efforts are the largest source of growth for the association. GHBA’s “Spikes” are the membership leaders, building the voice, power and influence of our industry. On every level, Spikes bring grassroots growth and stability, which further develop the general membership and leadership pipeline.
D’Ann has been a member for nearly 20 years and currently serves as Membership Committee chair, while Debbie, who has been a member for 23 years, is serving as Retention Committee chair. These ladies lead by example. They are both among the first to answer the call for membership drive participants, and their enthusiasm is contagious among the volunteers!
Congratulations to our 2019 honorees. You are truly GHBA’s member champions, and we appreciate you. Our industry needs you, our ambassadors and leaders who want to see our industry strengthen and grow.
