13th Annual Charity Golf Tournament Scores Big for the Homeless

Terry Swenson Charity Projects, HomeAid Houston, Member News

Team HomeAid scored HUGE this year at the 13th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, held for the first time at Wildcat Golf Club with its two 18-hole courses. Players enjoyed spectacular weather and solid competition, with a sold-out player list and friendly, yet competitive bidding during the online silent auction.

The tournament raised more than $77,000 and the auction raised $10, 348.

“This year’s tournament was a huge success and it all started with the new location at Wildcat Golf Club and the opportunity to play on two courses,” said Kendall. “The online auction was also a huge hit with so many incredible items from which to choose. We cannot thank our sponsors enough for making this day happen and for their continued support. We also thank the Golf Committee and all of the volunteers who understand what HomeAid does and the fact that homelessness is not a choice.”
