Why Join The Membership Team?
Looking for an opportunity to both network and receive recognition? Join our membership team. Membership
and Retention is comprised of three components, each component is overseen by a committee.
Membership Committee
The Membership Committee meets the first Wednesday of the month at 11:30 a.m.. The committee
focuses on locating and recruiting prospective members. Committee members are given a list of prospects each month and ask to call their “assignments” - an excellent opportunity to hone your sales skills.
Ambassador Club
Meeting the first Wednesday of the month at 12:30 p.m., this committee is focused on welcoming new members to the organization. This includes calling assigned new members during the month, inviting them to upcoming events and serving as greeters at meetings and events. The club provides a opportunity to meet current members with varying fields of expertise.
Retention Committee
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at 9 a.m. This committee’s focus is to maximize the benefit of membership for all members. They are responsible for following up with members who are nearing their non-renewal date, inquiring how they may feel they are getting a better value for their membership and helping GHBA staff to develop methods for maximzing the membership value for all members.
