GHBA Custom Builders Council donates to HomeAid Care projects

The GHBA Custom Builders Council donated $6,360 from its net proceeds to the HomeAid Houston Crossroads charity project. Pictured are CBC President Matt Sneller (left) and Bette Moser, executive director of HomeAid Housotn.

Throughout the year, members of the GHBA are quick to embrace HomeAid as one of their many charitable causes. In 2017, the GHBA Remodelers Council, Custom Builders Council, Volume Builders Committee, Sales and Marketing Council and Montgomery County Builders and Developers Division selected HomeAid to receive funds raised through their various council activities. These funds were recently presented to HomeAid to further its mission, ‘to build new lives for homeless families and individuals through housing and community outreach.’

The funds gifted to HomeAid were in excess of $8,000 and will be used to pay for the charity’s “HomeAid Care” projects in 2018, benefiting Crossroads and Wellsprings Village.

“GHBA members are an example of the generous nature of Houston’s homebuilding industry and we cannot thank them enough for all they have done over the past 14 years,” said Bill Dalton, president of HomeAid Houston.
