Education

The Greater Houston Builders Association’s nationally recognized Education Department endeavors to deliver the highest quality of education, training and professional development to the residential construction industry.

Invest in your future. Continuing education will help you enhance your career, boost your professional image, increase your level of expertise, and put yourself at the cutting-edge of your field. Where will your career be in 2010?

Getting Started

So, how do you get started? Simple. Just sign up for either the BAR or the PREP exam. Offered monthly, these self-paced assessment tests measure your proficiency in core areas of building and remodeling. Your results will show you the areas where your knowledge is strongest, where it is weakest, and will determine the courses required for you to obtain your first designation.

When the competition is fierce, expertise sets the leaders apart. An NAHB designation is a symbol of your knowledge and ability. It tells your customers that you are proficient with the latest skills and techniques and that your business practices are sound. But more than that, it tells them you’re committed to excellence.
