Multifamily Council

The newly established MultiFamily Council advocates for legislative initiatives that support all sizes and types of condominiums and rental apartments, and works to eliminate regulatory barriers that drive up the cost of multifamily housing.

The council also focuses on benefits of green building, safety and higher density housing in providing a wide range of housing choices along with smarter approaches to growth and the revitalization of urban areas across the country.

Monthly meetings serve to bring Houston-area multifamily professionals together to discuss their issues, provide solutions and network with peers.
The council provides advocacy, education and networking for its members.

Meetings are held the fourth Thursday of every other month at 9 a.m. at the GHBA office.
