About Chesmar Homes

Chesmar Homes was founded in 2005 by Houston area industry professionals, making its way into the market building homes for first time and move-up buyers in top tier communities like Cinco Ranch and The Woodlands.

With proven success under its belt in Houston, a Central Texas division was added in 2009 and soon Chesmar became a recognized leader in both market areas. With those foundations in place, the leadership of Chesmar Homes pressed to establish operations in Dallas/Ft. Worth and Austin. The rest is history, Chesmar history!

Chesmar Homes is known for its unique home plans, offering today’s savvy buyers the functionality and features they desire including energy efficiency. Chesmar uses cutting-edge building science to ensure high performance in each home, resulting in a comfortable, more durable home with lower operating costs for homeowners.

Chesmar Homes has garnered achievements and industry awards along the way, such as being awarded Builder of the Year by the Greater Houston Builders Association, named a Top Ten Workplace, recipient of several Greater San Antonio Builders Association Summit Awards, as well as being named to the Builder Magazine, BUILDER 100 list of the nation’s top homebuilders.

Receiving awards is an honor, but Chesmar seeks first to build homes of quality in communities where people want to live, while providing extraordinary customer service as well as sustaining a culture for its associates that is positive, rewarding and fun. Key to that culture is the company’s efforts to offer support where it is needed
and give back to the community. That’s the Chesmar Way!
