2009 Annual Report: The Year in Review
For the Greater Houston Builders Association, 2009 was a year of extraordinary challenges and outstanding achievements. It was a tough year for the association, but thanks to strong member support, we are still in a strong position and remain committed to continued excellence in member service, advocacy and education.
In spite of the unique economic and housing market conditions that we faced last year, Houston continues to be the top metro market in the country. People are still moving to Houston, and it is still one of the most affordable metropolitan areas in which to live.
